What is a sedation free dog dental cleaning?
We use calming techniques to relax your dog while removing plaque and calculous from the teeth. We do not use any form of anesthesia.

How will my dog stay still?
We use a swaddle technique to comfort your dog, this is the same technique used on new borns to make them feel safe.

Are we veterinarians?
We are not veterinarians and our service is an extension of grooming. We encourage you to see your veterinarian on a regular basis to ensure your pet is in optimal health.

How often are cleanings recommended?
We suggest cleanings every 6 months, similar to the frequency you would see your dental hygienist. We will advise based on the individual dog's needs. Some dogs may require more frequent cleanings every 3-4 months.

How long does a dental cleaning take?
The duration of a dental cleaning may vary depending on the dog's size, age, compliance and the extent of plaque and calculous deposit. On average a routine dental cleaning will take approximately 1.5 hours. More complex cases may require additional time.

What type of tools do we use?
We use dental grade instruments. We follow the same serilization protocol as a dental practice.

What if my dog doesn't cooperate?
We want your dog to have the best experience! Should we not complete the dental cleaning you will not be charged.

What to expect after a dental cleaning?
It is normal for the gums to have slight inflammation, redness or bleeding after the cleaning. This is an active immune response to the bacteria. The gums will return back to normal in the coming days.
